Davao City, Philippines — The Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) has been officially designated as an IPR (International Paramedic Registry) Testing Site, marking a major milestone in the international expansion of prehospital care certification.
SPMC is a government hospital under the Department of Health of the Republic of the Philippines, located at Davao City. The launch of the IPR exam is expected to take place between June and August of this year.
With this recognition, SPMC becomes the first authorized IPR Testing Site in the Philippines and across Southeast Asia, demonstrating its commitment to clinical excellence and international professional standards in prehospital care.
This achievement strengthens IPR’s global presence and further promotes the standardization of paramedic certification around the world.
