IPR credentials are valid for two years and must be renewed at the end of this period. Moving forward, providers will have a 30-day grace period to complete their recertification process. After this period, the certification will expire, and providers will only be able to renew their credentials by taking a new exam. Those with expired credentials will be marked as inactive in the IPR registry and will no longer be able to use IPR patches or certification titles. Recertification is essential to ensure that professionals continue to meet ongoing education and competency standards.
