From March 17 to 19, 50 paramedics from the Quito Fire Department took their IPR-A certification exam, including a practical component, at their training academy. With this evaluation, Quito Fire Department becomes the first employer in Latin America to certify its entire prehospital care brigade at the advanced level under IPR standards. This milestone reaffirms the institution’s commitment to emergency care and public safety, ensuring that the community is served by highly trained prehospital medicine professionals.
